LavaLife is Canada's number one dating service that has special features and looks for people that are looking for meaningful long-term relationships. Registering with LavaLife gives you the option to giving your profile to be shown in 3 unique profiles, which are Dating, Intimate, or Relationship.
Navigating LavaLife is simple and there are the three special areas you choose and a menu that is on the top of the screen gives you the choice to look at a new area.
Navigation on the site is easy. There are the three separate areas of the service: Dating, Relationship, and Intimate Encounters. A menu at the top of the screen (see picture directly below) allows you to easily click to view a new section. "Smiles" are used in the site to show that you are interested in another person or that someone is interested in you. Notes can be attached to the smiles, as well. The smiles are a way to flirt between users.
You can purchase credits though the site and then use them by sending e-mails or an instant message to a person. You can also use a "collect call", which means sending a collect e-mail and if the user wants to see it they pay the credits.
Your photos on LavaLife can be displayed on your main profile that you give and then other users can view them. You can also have "backstage" photos that a user can look at but only if you give them permission to do so first. If you have the inkling to look at a prospective interest's backstage photos you just send them an e-mail asking them if you can take a gander at their photos. And if you are fortunate and your photos are the ones that want to be seen you can grant access after receiving an e-mail.
LavaLife is a little expensive especially if you send and receive many e-mails. But the site is set up well and does have 1000's of singles looking for a little companionship or a meaningful relationship.
